Self- critique:
I am not sure how successful this piece is. It’s very balanced, however I cant determine where the focal point should be. I believe there is a visual flow. The thickest lines at the top and the rest are moving down it moves the eye to the bottom of the page. The picture does have repetition of line and shape. The shapes at the top repeating and the lines moving down as well as the use of organic shapes. I did try and use different thickness with the Pitt pen to create a contrast with value and variation of lines. I think the composition is cool however it lacks a focal point which makes the piece unsecessful.
