Slide 5-
My experience with a gap year. Being able to move to Germany and reconnect with my father and travel. Learn about culture. Go through touch experiences and gain grit. How to make friends. Putting myself out of my comfort zone and allowing myself to be in new situations. Meeting people from all over the world (learning about cultural norms and how to relate to others) Experiencing different political climates. (Refuge crisis, racism,)
Slide 6-
How it helped me find what I wanted to do and allowed me time to mature and find my priorities. Motivated me to go back to school, work hard and become a better student. I wouldn’t take back that year for anything.
